Seeland Bräu is located in the bistro of the associated Swiss Hostel Lago Lodge and can also be visited.
The brewery produces over 1000 hectoliters of mostly BIO-certified beers every year using purely artisanal methods.
Solar panels are used for heating up the brewing water and the self-generated electricity from the roof enables environmentally friendly production.
1999
After a break of almost 100 years, a new brewery opens in the Bernese Seeland. The founder and owner of Seeland Bräu is Hansruedi Suter.
2012
Tobias Kieser starts working as a master brewer at Seeland Bräu.
2019
Pascal Roth takes over the management of the brewery as Managing Director.
2024
Pascal Roth becomes the new owner of Brauerei Seeland Bräu AG.
Beer varieties
Most of Seeland Bräu’s beers are certified organic and are made from certified organic ingredients. They are natural and unfiltered.
The varieties Blonde, Spéciale, Brune and Abeille are always available in the Bistro LagoLodge. In addition, there is always one of our varieties on tap, depending on the season.
